A Parameter Uniform Numerical Scheme for Singularly Perturbed Differential-difference Equations with Mixed Shifts
In this paper, we consider a second-order singularly perturbed differential-difference equations with mixed delay and advance parameters. At first, we approximate the model problem by an upwind finite difference scheme on a Shishkin mesh. We know that the upwind scheme is stable and its solution is oscillation free, but it gives lower order of accuracy. So, to increase the convergence, we propo...
متن کاملPositive Periodic Solutions of Nonlinear First-order Functional Difference Equations with a Parameter
We obtain the existence and multiplicity of positive T -periodic solutions for the difference equations ∆x(n) = a(n, x(n))− λb(n)f(x(n− τ(n))) and ∆x(n) + a(n, x(n)) = λb(n)f(x(n− τ(n))), where f(·) may be singular at x = 0. Using a fixed point theorem in cones, we extend recent results in the literature.
متن کاملOscillation of Fractional Nonlinear Difference Equations
The oscillation criteria for forced nonlinear fractional difference equation of the form ∆x(t) + f1(t, x(t+ α)) =v(t) + f2(t, x(t+ α)), t ∈ N0, 0 < α ≤ 1, ∆x(t)|t=0 =x0, where ∆α denotes the Riemann-Liouville like discrete fractional difference operator of order α is presented. متن کاملStability of Nonlinear Functional Difference Equations
We give a theorem on the error estimate of approximate solutions for difference functional equations of the Volterra type with an unknown function in several variables. The error is estimated by a solution of an initial problem for nonlinear differential functional equation. We apply this general result to the investigation of the convergence of difference schemes generated by mixed problems fo...

If /o(0) = 0 and X¡ ?¿ 1, we can det...
